Hosonic
was founded in Taipei, Taiwan with NTD200,000,00.-
capital and 20 employee. The main products included
Fixed Carbon Film, Metal Film, Metal Oxide and Wire
Wound Resistors. Revenue in this year was US$1 million. |

1985 |
Started
the mass production of Disc, Radial and Axial Ceramic
Capacitors. Hosonic was one of leading reliable
manufacturers for Ceramic Capacitors in Taiwan at the
era. The capital was increased to NTD 34 million and
employee attained to 120. Sales of this year was up to
US$5 million. |

1989 |
Established
Cantec as an affiliate for producing SIP Resistor
Network and other Thick Film products. The capital of
this company was NTD 33 million and there are 50 people
in this plant. Sales reached to US$10 million. |

1991 |
Installed
two production lines for Quartz Crystals and Chip
Resistors for Hosonic and Cantec. The capitals and

Hosonic up to NTD 40 million and Cantec was NTD 38

Employee: Hosonic increased to 150 and Cantec was 100

By
the way, set up the first subsidiary of Hosonic Group in
Mainland China, named “Zhuhai Glee Hope Electronic
Co., Ltd.”. Meantime, also founded H.K. office called
“Hosonic (HK) Electronic Co., Ltd” to cope with the
triangle trade document. The sales in this year was
US$15 million. |

1994 |
Set
up the second subsidiary in Mainland China named
“Hangzhou Hosonic Electronic Co., Ltd.”. The main
product in Hangzhou Hosonic was Crystal Oscillators. The
sales revenue of this year was US$22 million. |

1997 |
For
strategic, logistic and cost effective purpose, Cantec
was merged into Hosonic at the end of this year, the
total capital of Hosonic was changed to NTD 106 million.
As the big economy crisis in Asia, the sales of Hosonic
was influenced down to US$20 million. However, in the
same year, Taiwan
Hosonic was approved by ISO-9002 too to enhance our
management. |

1998 |
Developing
UM-1, UM-5 and VCXO high end Crystal products. And after
all struggled by the employees, the sales revenue of
this year increased to US$25 million by throwing away
the economy crisis even if it still existed in the year. |

1999 |
Investing
more advanced high end machinery to increase more mass
production of Through Hole Crystals and Oscillators in
Hangzhou Hosonic and Zhuhai Hosonic. We’re very proud
to say that Hosonic group was the top one maker for the
Crystal Oscillators in China region already. By the way,
for penetrating more market application, Taiwan Hosonic
started to run the mass production of SMD Ceramic
Package Crystals and Oscillators from the 3rd
quarter of the year. The capital turned to NTD 166
million and revenue of this year was US$28 million. |

2000 |
Capital
increased to NTD 270 million and revenue was US$30
million. |

2002 |
Continuously
set up the third subsidiary in Shanghai and Dongguan of
China named Shanghai Hosonic and Dongguan Hosonic.
Capital increased to NTD 357 million. The revenue of
total group was US$34 million. |

2003 |
Tremendously
increase the capacity of SMD Oscillator and SMD both of
Seam and Frit type of
Crystal. Target of this year revenue is US$36 million. |
